<p>Today&#8217;s Pay Per Click landscape is a repeat of high school.<br />

<p>If you sell coffee as a commodity, it&#8217;s worth 2<br />
cents a cup. If you sell it as a good, it&#8217;s worth<br />
25 cents a cup. If you sell it as a service it&#8217;s<br />
worth $1.00 a cup. If you sell it as an<br />
experience, it&#8217;s $5.00 a cup. A 250:1 difference<br />
between commodity and experience.</p>
<p>Meaning: Getting ahead by slashing prices is<br />
cutting your own throat. You MUST take a lead from<br />
Starbucks and deliver an entire customer<br />
experience. Move UPSTREAM, not down.</p>
<p>Your marketing plan MUST include Google. Love<br />
&#8216;em, hate &#8216;em, Mother&#8217;s Milk or Big Brother, there<br />
is no avoiding this fact.</p>
<p>If your marketing plan ONLY includes Google,<br />
you&#8217;re an accident waiting to happen. You must<br />
invoke the Unlimited Traffic Technique and elevate<br />
your conversions to a level where you can compete<br />
on any level playing field. Once accept this<br />
reality, you liberate yourself from the mosh pit<br />
of misery and mediocrity.</p>
<p>If you have a successful affiliate business and<br />
it&#8217;s still standing, congratulations. You still<br />
have time to move to higher ground. Time to move<br />
NOW.</p>
<p>After 3 days in Maui (one of the most intense<br />
learning experiences ever) one conclusion everyone<br />
reached at the end of day 3 was this: *Regardless<br />
of where you buy clicks, if you don&#8217;t have an<br />
Autoresponder sequence, you&#8217;re leaving 2/3rds of<br />
the money on the table.*</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Social Media is a freaking a waste of time</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">compared to just TEN well-written emails. In my</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">opinion if you don&#8217;t have AR&#8217;s in place you&#8217;re</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">lucky to still be alive.</p>
<p>The principle of the Slight Edge says: If<br />
you&#8217;re just 5% better than everyone else you get<br />
50% more of the spoils.</p>
<p>There is no such thing as One Single Ideal<br />
marketing message, anymore than there is One<br />
Single Ideal shrub in the jungle. What you need is<br />
a toolbox of effective hooks that work with<br />
different kinds of people. That is the premise of<br />
the Swiss Army Knife.</p>
<p>Market Research is crucial. In 2004 you could<br />
afford to sling mud against the wall. Not in 2010.<br />
Ask your prospects the right 3 questions and sort<br />
the data right and your chances of success in a<br />
startup go from 5% to 50% overnight.</p>
<p>Most people now are on the defensive. They&#8217;ve<br />
shuttered their doors and windows and they&#8217;re<br />
trying to ride out the recession. That&#8217;s just slow<br />
motion suicide. Those who prevail have decided to<br />
be 21st century alchemists and every single day<br />
they&#8217;re trying to figure out how to deliver a more<br />
awesome customer experience.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You have researched your prospective company. You completed your due diligence and everything met your standards. All you have to do is to sign on the line and you are in business. Yet something still doesn’t seem right to you. You keep receiving vague answers when you talk to others members of your leader’s downline.</p>
<p>So how do you determine if your leader is the leader you want to work with?</p>
<p>Some sponsors do what leaders need to do.  They motivate you when you need it.  They try to understand what makes you tick. They want and need to understand your goals and what gets your blood racing.  Ultimately, they become both a friend and mentor.</p>
<p>Sometimes, the sponsor doesn’t fulfill the role of a leader. After they get you signed up, they disappear. This happens way too often. Then the marketer struggles to make any money and, most likely, drop out of the business after six to nine months.</p>
<p>So, how do you know which type of sponsor is recruiting you?</p>
<p>Unfortunately, there is not a clear cut answer to this question.  Probably the best course of action is to have a set of questions that you need answered.  Then you need to interview your prospective sponsor to see how they answer your questions. You also need to understand that some sponsors will not take kindly to being interviewed.  They will state that they are the leader and you need to follow what they say. This may or may not be good for you.</p>
<p>If you are new to the MLM world, there are many things that your sponsor may not tell you. They may not tell you what to do after you tap out your warm market. They may give you vague instructions, like make a list of 100 people that you know and go talk to them. Handing out flyers, holding in home meetings, explain your business to any one that will listen, etc. etc. are other things that they may have you do.</p>
<p>This may work for some people. However, this marketing strategy has done more damage to the network / MLM market that anything else. If a person is not a salesman, they will fail miserably if they try to market their product this way. They need a different marketing strategy.</p>
<p>A good sponsor will have a plan to get the new person going. They will try to understand the comfort level for a given marketing plan and explain how to implement this plan. Most good sponsors have a range of marketing strategies that can be adapted to fit most any situation or person. They understand that there is not a single solution for getting everyone successful, so they change their plan to fit the person.</p>
<p>There are also a percentage of marketers that don’t want their sponsors help. They have been there, done that. Sometimes they know more than their sponsor but, because of their situation, join an opportunity under a less experienced sponsor. As a sponsor, you should then try to learn everything you can from this team member.</p>
<p>In conclusion, when you are considering joining a new opportunity, make sure you know what your sponsor will do for you and what you will be doing for them. Just remember that the goal is for everyone to be successful. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Much has been written and discussed, usually passionately, about search engine optimization or, as it is known, SEO.  For many years, SEO was purported to be some type of magic that you had to pay someone to handle the details.  The general consensus was that the &#8220;normal&#8221; person could not handle SEO. To add to this stereotype, the search engines tried to keep an aura of magic in SEO.</p>
<p>Recently, the veil of magic has been lifted.</p>
<p>Much of the &#8220;magic&#8221; of SEO is really not that magical.  It is more common sense than anything else.  Yes, there are rules that you need to abide by to stay in the good graces of the search engines.  The rules are not magic but you need to change, slightly, the manner in which you present your material.  It is not as simple as just locking in a single keyword. It is learning how to lock in the &#8220;feeling&#8221; that the search engines are seeking.</p>
<p>Fortunately, in the past several years, many people have worked very hard to educate everyone who wants to learn about the trials and tribulations of SEO.  They have printed and spoke about everything that is required to excel in SEO.  The real advantage of learning from these experts is that they have assembled tools and techniques that shorten the learning curve. Because these people spent their effort to help others, everyone benefits.</p>
<p>So, what is this &#8220;magic&#8221; that the search engines are seeking?</p>
<p>The easiest way to describe SEO in terms that everyone can understand is &#8220;relevancy&#8221;. The search engines are looking for more than just a single keyword.  They are looking for a pattern of linking words and phrases that add more &#8220;structure&#8221; to the keyword.  SEO is also about how to structure of how everything is tied together.</p>
<p>For instance, Google has tools on its search page that will show the relevant words and phrases for a given keyword or phrase. Then Google also will allow you, using their own tools, to further dissect these words and phrases. By completing the research before you construct your site or article, you have a significant advantage over the person that doesn&#8217;t understand SEO or doesn&#8217;t believe it matters.  Trust me, it does.</p>
<p>The way that you know that your SEO work is doing its job is to do the Google search. When your info show up on the first page of Google &#8230; and stays there &#8230; you have completed your work successfully.  It gives you great, personal satisfaction when everything falls into place and you get your info ranked over people that have been there for a period of time.</p>
<p>The BEST way to &#8220;win&#8221; in SEO is to change your mindset to match what the search engines are looking for.  It isn&#8217;t magic, it is just following a set of rules, much like most other things in life.  The advantage that you have with SEO is that you have feedback very quickly. If your information doesn&#8217;t rank, you didn&#8217;t do your homework.  The good part is that you can always rework what you did until you DO get it right.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Are you actively marketing a product for an MLM company?  Are you making more than several hundred dollars per month with this MLM?  Are you doing EVERYTHING your sponsor is telling you to do but still losing money?</p>
<p>Unfortunately, this situation may have nothing to do with you.  Your sponsor doesn&#8217;t understand this or even how to explain this issue to you.  Fortunately, this issue is easily explained &#8230; if you understand basic mathematics.</p>
<p>Mathematics?</p>
<p>Yes, this is a quite simple math problem.  You see, in any sales business, you get paid based on the quantity of products that you sell.  The more of your product that you sell, the more money that you make.  Quite simple. Unfortunately, there is a huge second factor that enters into this equation that will impact your total income, especially if you are running your own business.</p>
<p>This factor is the amount of money you earn per transaction.  You are probably saying that this won&#8217;t make THAT much difference, will it?  Yes, the difference in the amount that you earn per transaction will make a tremendous difference in your income. The example below will show the graphic difference. This will be a simple example but has real world implications.</p>
<p>First, some base information.  Typically, one percent (1%) of your prospects will purchase your product or service. In addition to this, only about one percent (1%) of the people that read you ad will respond to it.  Then you get to the real kicker, only one percent (1%) of the people that see your ad will even bother to read it.</p>
<p>So, here are the numbers.  You need one hundred (100) prospects to get a customer. To get the one hundred prospects, you will need to have ten thousand (100 X 100) people to read the ad.  Now for the scary number.  You need one million (1,000,000) views to get your single customer.</p>
<p>So, by now, you are probably asking what this has to do with anything.  PLENTY.</p>
<p>For instance, say you earn ten dollars ($10.00) per sale.  For your one million views you just made ten dollars.  Do this ten times per month and you just made one hundred ($100) dollars.  CONGRATULATIONS.  In five months you are broke and your business is probably on life support or worse.</p>
<p>OK, say you bought into a better system and you are making one hundred ($100.00) per sale. You are doing better because you have now made one thousand ($1,000.00).  This means that you will struggle for a YEAR and then probably still bail out because your effort is not being rewarded the way that you think it SHOULD be.</p>
<p>Now, what if you were to join a large dollar program?  Say you could earn one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per sale.  This would put ten thousand ($10,000.00) in your pocket for ten sales.  NOW YOU ARE TALKING.  Now you have a business with enough income to allow you to grow your business to a level that is sustainable.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, too many people join the small dollar programs and then complain that they can&#8217;t make any money&#8230;AND&#8230;they are correct.  The odds are greatly stacked against them.  Now if you are looking for pocket money, yes, a small dollar program will fulfill your needs.  If, however, you are looking to put some decent money in you pocket, a small dollar program will drive you out of the business.</p>

<p>The first of their product line is a drink that is being marketed as an energy drink called XOWii Energy. They are also listing a XOWii Thin and a XOWii Ultra as upcoming products.</p>
<p>The company executive management consists of three gentlemen with extensive experience in the investment and banking industry and a business development specialist with 15 years of health and wellness industry experience. This group is the driving force behind bringing XOWii to the market. The company is striving to enter the exploding functional beverage market and capitalize on the growing excitement.</p>
<p>In reviewing the company literature, there is a serious lack of information concerning XOWii&#8217;s training and marketing programs. The compensation plan appears to be similar to the other main contenders in the market. The remaining information appears similar to the other main contenders on the market.</p>
<p>As the basis of this XOWii Scam Review, this author has reached the conclusion that this company is trying to shirttail itself into a market position based on the success of the other contenders.  Based on the information presented by the company, XOWii is providing a very limited profile as compared to the other companies. Much of the data appears to be formatted to mirror the information being presented by others.</p>
<p>The most interesting point appears to be the use of the term &#8220;coffee cherry&#8221;.  Having some knowledge of the marketing of the <a href="http://billpalte.ws/coffeefruit" style="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" onmouseover="self.status='Wordpress coffee fruit';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">coffee fruit</a>, this is quite interesting. Since another company is also marketing the <a href="http://billpalte.ws/coffeefruit" style="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" onmouseover="self.status='Wordpress coffee fruit';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">coffee fruit</a> as a functional beverage, XOWii appears to be trying to capture this momentum. Much of the literature provided by the company seems to be a play on the other company&#8217;s data.</p>
<p>Is XOWii a scam?  That question is very hard to qualify. XOWii appears to be a company that is trying to be something that it is not.</p>
<p>XOWii appears to be a company constructed by people who understand the new buzz about the functional beverages.  They are trying to capture the hype while it is still fresh on the market.  Because the company executive management has very little functional beverage experience or network marketing experience, it appears to that they are trying to bring in people who have that knowledge and experience. It also appears that the company is just trying to do the minimum that is required just to obtain a market presence.</p>
<p>So, to conclude this XOWii Scam Review, what do you do if you are contacted about joining XOWii?</p>
<p>In my opinion, that is a personal choice. XOWii may be a great company, in time. They are trying to step into an extremely competitive market, network marketing, that has a very competitive product. The coffeeberry® fruit is very tightly controlled by several companies thru several international patents. This fact will make this market very difficult and competitive. Trying to bypass the legal issues will require a significant effort.</p>

Fewer people yet know that up to approximately seven years ago, this fruit was discarded because it would become rancid very quickly.</p>

<p>Seven years ago, a group of people established a process to control this fruit immediately after the beans were removed from it. Next they conducted a series of analysis of this fruit and determined that they had a true antioxidant goldmine.</p>
<p>The fruit displayed an unusual set of properties due to its physical environment, which was high in the mountains, and under the direct sunlight. Because of the sunlight, the antioxidants, called phenolic acids or polyphenols, in this fruit far exceed any other natural fruit. This fruit also contains other nutrients that have benefits scientists are just beginning to study and understand.</p>
<p>Everyone involved with this discovery process was excited because of the benefits of the polyphenols. Some of the expected benefits from the polyphenols include: Neutralizing toxic free radicals, helping to protect against systemic oxidative stress, helping to reduce the incidence of oxidative pathologies such as coronary heart disease, inflammation and possibly even certain cancers, and to provide health benefits associated with glucose management, Type 2 Diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome, depression and anxiety and oral health.</p>
<p>Additional research has led to the discovery that polysaccharides, such as mannans and aribinogalactans, make up nearly 50% of the coffee fruit&#8217;s nutritional benefits. This was an unexpected benefit since the polysaccharides are not present in our coffee.  The realization was that the roasting process was responsible for destroying polysaccharides and, since the coffee fruit is processed before the roasting process, they could be maintained.</p>
<p>Further research led to the discovery of what the carbohydrates in the coffee fruit would do for the body.  It was discovered that five of the eight types of carbohydrates are present in the coffee fruit. These five, mannose, galactose, fucose, xylose, arabinose and glucose, are found in unusually high levels and are responsible for aiding our bodies digestive systems.</p>
<p>Based on these fantastic results, a group determined that the coffee fruit needed to be processed in a fashion that everyone could benefit from its properties. One of the results of this discussion was the development of a true functional beverage. This beverage was formulated to maintain the best of the coffee fruit and to include other fruit and vegetable extracts to achieve a true, one of a kind functional drink.</p>
<p>Recent testing by Brunswick Labs resulted in this functional beverage receiving an ORAC value of 114,351 units per liter. This equates to 10,149 ORAC units per one recommended daily three-ounce serving. That is the antioxidant equivalent of approximately 20 servings of fruits and vegetables. <p>There are several marketing strategies that seniors (according to AARP) should become familiar with if you want to become a successful online marketer. We not only can survive but thrive in this new information age. We just need an open mind, a computer and some kids or maybe grand kids to help out. Our typing skills are horrible, we can’t see well, yet we can still prosper as long as we use the power of our brain. Also, using these strategies just might aid in the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease. Go figure!</p>
<p>Let’s take a look at some basic strategies to successfully market your business online today:</p>
<p>1.Facebook &#8211; Get your children or grandchildren to set up a page for you with friends and family photos. Once you feel comfortable with that begin to seek out people you know but have lost track of and hopefully their children and grandchildren have done the same for them. Invite their friends to be yours and begin to build a relationship. Join groups that you are interested in and post comments or articles within those groups.</p>
<p>2.Twitter- Similar strategy as Facebook except the conversations are shorter and you follow people you are interested in and those interested in you will do the same. You might not like the feel of Twitter because you will see a lot of nonsense tweets. Ignore those and begin by tweeting about what you like to do that may not be business related. For example, you can tweet about how to grow tomatoes and talk about something that may have helped a loved one‘s cancer or diabetes, anything that peeks your interest. Tweet a few times daily and it will soon become addictive. Once you develop a good following you can begin to ease in marketing tweets about your business and your website (which someone should have helped you develop).</p>
<p>3.LinkedIn – This is where all the professionals are located. This is a very clean and polished group of folks here and may be the best hunting ground for your business. This is where the cream of the crop hangs out. Generally you have to know someone to invite to become a connection. One way to do that is to join various groups you are interested in and then post articles to that group. If someone leaves a comment about your article, thank them and ask them to become a connection to you. This will require article writing but a couple of articles a week should do the trick.</p>
<p>4.YouTube – I know what you’re thinking here, “But I have A Face for RADIO”. I have those same feelings myself. However, if you’re going to be a successful online marketer, video is one avenue that must be tackled. Again, enlist the help of children and grandchildren for making a video and include them in it if necessary. You may have the most potential here to reach more people than anywhere else and with the help of the younger generation they will have you jazzed up and ready to market. Depending upon your creativity, this may be the strategy that skyrockets your business.</p>
<p>After using a few of these strategies, the key would be to get traffic to your website and convert traffic into sales. This is a little more complicated and may require outsourcing. However, if you have the energy and drive you can also accomplish this using some specifics tools. That’s a lot to swallow and you can outsource everything as a business investment. The fun, however, might just be to do a few of the strategies yourself to get some basic understanding of how it’s done so that you too become an active part of this Web 2.0 revolution.</p>

Sometimes, they would &#8220;drop&#8221; the cards so that someone would pick up the card to see what was on it. Usually these cards would have something on them to make the bystander curious about the card so they would pick it up.</p>

<p>Recently, a new version of the dropcard has become famous. The dropcard has been redesigned to look similar to currency but with an advertising message on the back of the card.  The most effective dropcards have been printed to resemble the look of a $100 dollar bill.  These bills have been very effective in many different strategies because they resemble US currency.</p>
<p>To make the dropcards very effective, there must be a compelling message on the card. This will cause enough curiosity so that the person picking up the card will take action on the message. What the message includes seems to be up for discussion on a regular basis but most marketers agree on several items.</p>
<p>First, the message on the dropcard must include a compelling call to action. The message needs to be short and precise so anyone reading the message will know exactly what to do. Typically, the message would be a short statement or question, such as, &#8220;You need to check this website NOW&#8221; or &#8220;Number 1 Home Based Business&#8221;.</p>
<p>Second, most messages are better if a phone number is not included on the dropcard. Although this may seem counter productive to many, not having a phone number forces the person with the card to log into the marketer&#8217;s system to have their curiosity resolved. This gives the marketer another chance to reinforce his message and to start to build some trust. It also provides more time for the prospect to review the marketer&#8217;s information before starting a conversation.</p>
<p>Third, the message on the dropcard must include a website for the prospect to review. Typically, this will be a page that presents an overview of the opportunity and a form to record the prospects contact information.  There is sometimes a phone number for contact since the prospect now has an idea of what product or service is being promoted.</p>
<p>Much has been written and discussed about the most effective marketing strategies for using dropcards but there appears to be a short list of the most effective strategies. These include: gas pump credit card slots, newspapers, tollbooths, clothing stores, and bookstores.  Each of these marketing areas require a specific technique to be effective.  All of these strategies can be implemented most anyplace in the country and are equally effective anyplace.</p>
<p>Now for the disclaimer.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, the dropcard techniques will not get you hundreds on leads everyday.  They will get you a steady, reliable stream of leads, of which most will be highly qualified since they took the time to track you down. These are the type of leads that you are looking for anyway. They will also understand how effective dropcard marketing is since they were discovered using the exact technique.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, most people will start out strong with the dropcards but slowly lose interest. The primary reason is that dropcard marketing is not high glamour.  It&#8217;s easy to lose interest since you are not getting the type of leads that you would with pay-per-click, for instance. However, you are also not paying the high cost of pay-per-click with a dropcard marketing strategy. Consistency will make this strategy pay well with time and the cost to get started is quite low.</p>
<p>This is truly a low cost marketing strategy that can be implemented by most everyone.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">If you are bringing in much more than you are spending, congratulations, you are in the 3% that MAY survive in the MLM industry. Why the “MAY” survive? Unfortunately, in the MLM world, your position is really never secure. Many marketing agreements are skewed to the company’s advantage at the expense of the marketer.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal"><span> </span>How can the marketing agreement be skewed?</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">A marketing agreement may give the company the right to move people between legs, at their discretion, actually control the amount of contact you can have with your leads, or, in some cases, actually “confiscate” your entire downline. When this happens, your “business” dies. DEAD.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">So, what can you, as a marketer, do about this situation?</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Several things actually.<span> </span>You must understand that you really don’t have a business if the company owns the leads.<span> </span>You are just “using” the company’s products or services to earn some money. Not a very good situation to be in. A better situation is to be involved in a company where you control your leads.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Next, before signing any marketing agreement, read the document carefully.<span> </span>Understand what you can and cannot do. Understand what you can advertise.<span> </span>Some companies do not allow the use of the company name in their advertising. Understand who controls the leads and how they are contacted.<span> </span>If you can’t market to your leads effectively, building your business is very hard.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Finally, if you have total control over your leads, congratulations, you now have your business.<span> </span>If your present opportunity changes to where it is not working for you, you have the ability to take your “people” and move to a new opportunity.<span> </span>This means your business continues because your people will believe and follow you.</p>
